Flea to join Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart with the Faces (tour?)?
Rolling Stone Magazine has reported that Ronnie Wood has clearly stated that Flea (from The Red Hot Chile Pepper fame) is slated to stand in as Base player once the Faces take back to the road after their brief brake of 3+ decades.
Were sure the cocktail on stage with Flea in the mix will take the faces to fantastic places. But all in all it’s the unique mixture of Rod, Ronnie and Flea of stage that we look forward to seeing.

Flea is a great player, but he is wrong for the Faces. His style is too different (way too hyperactive and metal-like), not to mention the boy never wears a shirt or pants. He will look ridiculous onstage with the Faces, a walking, naked tatoo. I’d rather have Rod’s solo bassist or former Rolling Stone four-stringer Bill Wyman do it. Or Pino Palladino.
